Training quality starts with the quality of education
The Beach Volley World coaching staff brings together qualified professionals with more than thirty years of experience in volleyball, beach volleyball and sports education.
A wealth of experience built on court, in physical preparation and in teaching, but above all through an educational journey that has never stopped.
Education, experience and specialization
The BVW staff is made up of qualified FIPAV and AIBVC coaches, holding the highest qualification provided by their respective beach-volleyball coaching pathways.
These specific qualifications are combined with expertise developed over more than thirty years in volleyball, beach volleyball, physical preparation and sports education, including experience in other disciplines.
Thirty years of experience. And still so much to learn.
At BVW, experience is not a finish line. Beach volleyball keeps evolving: training methods, technical interpretations, systems of play, physical preparation and strategies all change.
That is why our coaches continue to study, exchange ideas and develop through masterclasses, clinics and specialist programs in Italy and abroad, coming into contact with some of the most important schools of international beach volleyball.
Over time they have had opportunities to learn from and exchange ideas with national- and international-level coaches and physical-preparation specialists, including members of national-team staffs from countries such as Italy, Sweden and Norway, bringing different approaches, methods and experiences back to BVW courts every day.
We do not teach beach volleyball the way we learned it thirty years ago. We keep learning it every day.
Study, experiment, share
A new methodology is not adopted because it is fashionable. A new technical solution does not automatically become better because it comes from a prestigious school.
The BVW staff continuously researches new tools, systems of play and strategies, compares them with on-court experience and integrates them into programming when they can genuinely improve the athlete's pathway.
Continuous education thus becomes a shared method rather than the knowledge of a single coach: skills and experiences are shared across the staff and turned into everyday work on the sand.
Our coaches keep learning so that our athletes can keep learning too.
